"Just A Rainy Day"

I was thinking of you today while I laid wide awake in my bed watching as the sky darkened. Laying there listening to the rain as it hit the ground I wondered to myself if the “feelings” that I had for you really went a way. Am I fooling myself? Why is the thought of you and me cuddling together in my bed on a rainy day hit me so randomly. As I laid listening to the striking sounds of the individual rain drops hit the ground it reminded me of how soothing your heart beat feels up against my hand and how it sounds flowing through my hear. Just slightly opening my back door inhaling the sweet smell of the rain reminded me of how close you would hold me in your arms. Exhaling this breathe of relief and comfort reminded me of how I would feel in your arms. Laying there wide awake in my bed thinking to myself that you are my rainy day. You are that rainy day that I spend in the comfort of my bed bundled up in my covers. You are the soothing that sound that is so relieving, the mist that I can’t seem to get enough of. The feeling of just wanting to run and play in that rain reminded me of all the good times we so happily shared. Looking out of my window to only see the rain began to slowly fade, then abruptly stopping. Just standing there watching it all had me flashing back to the hug that made me feel like it was ok live and let love, to the soothing smell and those eyes that had me so captivated. All of it slowly fading, then abruptly stopping. In a daze is what I was, coming out of it to only realizing that, maybe that old flame stills burns and in this moment of time I couldn’t put it out even if I tried.

today has been the actual bomb. set up for the art show, just ate peach salsa, will soon go to art show, am about to watch the office, got a present, looked at a cool book, am friends with my parents, finally have time for shit, got prints of some photos, snuck them up at school, looked at cool artists/photographers, am highly inspired, had an insano easy day at school, heard a pretty song at lunch….. WUTEVS. rara ra ra ra i wish i could always be this excited/inspired, although there is one thing nagging at my conscience, i am happy to be well equipped to talk through it and hopefully learn from it… 2 months ago
